Inspired by Return YouTube Dislike iOS tweak.

Bring Back Dislikes On iOS YouTube Music.

In November 2021, YouTube removed the ability to see the number of dislikes on videos. While YouTube claims this is a strategy to prevent “dislike attacks”, this has the consequence of hiding a critical way that the community can respond to videos which may be spammy, inaccurate, dishonest, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.

The tweak accesses the Return YouTube Dislike database. The 11-digit identifier of videos you watch will be shared with the Return YouTube Dislike server in order to retrieve dislike count data.

The tweak additionally allows you to send like/dislike data to their database. Tap your profile icon at the top-right, tap “Settings”, then “Return YouTube Music Dislike”, then enable the “Enable vote submission” option.

For your PC, check out the Return YouTube Dislike extension for Chrome and other browsers.

Why does this matter?
