Bring Back Dislikes On iOS YouTube.

In November 2021, YouTube removed the ability to see the number of dislikes on videos. While YouTube claims this is a strategy to prevent “dislike attacks”, this has the consequence of hiding a critical way that the community can respond to videos which may be spammy, inaccurate, dishonest, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.

The tweak accesses the Return YouTube Dislike database. The 11-digit identifier of videos you watch will be shared with the Return YouTube Dislike server in order to retrieve dislike count data.

The tweak additionally allows you to send like/dislike data to their database. Tap your profile icon at the top-right, tap “Settings”, select “General” and scroll down until you see “Enable vote submission” option.

For your PC, check out the Return YouTube Dislike extension for Chrome and other browsers.
