This build adds the following new features:

  • Introduces a fix for Now Playing with watchOS 8, for iOS 14.2 and newer. Please see the end of this changelog for a list of potential issues you may encounter whilst using this fix. These are under active investigation.

This build includes the following fixes:

  • Fixes an issue where some error messages would not appear correctly

This build includes the following improvements:

  • If one or more Compatibility Fixes fail to be automatically removed when uninstalling the DEB, the text output now reveals which fixes failed

Known issues with the Now Playing fix:

  • When changing output device (e.g. headphones, AirPlay) on the iPhone, the display on the Watch may take some time to update

  • The fix currently only supports iOS 14.2 and newer. Investigations are underway to make this available for older OS versions

This build adds the following new features:

  • Pairing Support is now compatible with watchOS 8.5 and newer. It is expected that this support will last for the rest of the watchOS 8.x series
  • The Screenshots Support fix, for watchOS 8 is now available. Enable this to restore the ability to take screenshots on your Watch and have them appear on your iPhone
  • The “Check Active Paired Watch” feature now has a “Check watchOS Updates” option. This will tell you whether a watchOS update that has been discovered is compatible with your current version of Legizmo
  • The app now references your device name in relevant operations, for users who have multiple Watches paired
  • Legizmo will automatically blank out references to your device name in any screenshots taken within the app, for privacy

This build includes the following fixes:

  • Fixes an issue which could cause Legizmo to falsely report the Shortcuts Support fix as being installed, when it isn’t
  • Fixes an issue which could cause some operations within the Legizmo app to correctly identify an error condition, but show the wrong message to the user

This build includes the following improvements:

  • Improves standards compliance of support files
  • The Compatibility Fixes screen now shows any fixes which are installed, but Legizmo suggests be removed. Previously, this was not user-visible

  • Legizmo now has a presence in the iOS Settings app, featuring toggles and version information

This build includes the following improvements:

  • Legizmo screens now have greater contrast when using Light Mode with iOS 13 or newer
  • Legizmo now automatically removes its configuration when uninstalling the package, rather than having the user have to manually do this
  • The severity of warning messages around the use of the Native method has been increased. You must - now confirm your understanding of the limitations in iOS Settings
  • Wording of messages in the Legizmo app have been made clearer
  • Security and privilege improvements to all areas of Legizmo
  • General backend bug fixes
