Customizability

Jade has many options for customization for the avid themer. Intercompatibility with themes from Prysm allows a seemless experience for theming Jade.

The included modules are also very customizable, both in terms of color and location.

Presets

The import/export preset options in Jade allow for sharing of configurations, making it very easy to share your beautiful settings with someone else.

Gestures

Jade has various options to customize the location and behavior of the control center. It can be opened from the original location, from the bottom left, bottom right, and both bottom left and right.

Localization

Localizing Jade for different languages is a big priority. Currently, Jade has the localizations for the following languages:

Bugfixes

  • Fix an issue with the bottom gestures on devices with the Dynamic Island
  • Fix landscape support for the bottom gestures
  • Fix an issue that would cause safe mode when accessing the control center in landscape mode
  • Added an animation when pressing the toggles in the “Power Controls” module
  • Fix an issue with the brightness slider when the user switches from light to dark mode and vice versa
  • Fix an issue where the device would get stuck in a respring loop if it was connected to a Mac with QuickTime enabled
  • Fix an issue where the device would go into safe mode in cases where the user tried to screen share
  • Fixed some issues in regards to the gesture where opening it at first and then scrolling up after opening it would not result in the same position

QOL Additions

  • Made the “Portrait Offset” and “Landscape Offset” settings apply without a respring

  • Better system for the placeholder media artwork image
  • Added handling for secondary languages for localizations

Important Changes

  • The logic for the background image option has changed. Themers may need to change their background images to accomodate for the new size.
  • Made the bottom invocation area slightly smaller
  • Adjusted the velocity needed to close Jade when the “Present Expanded” option is enabled
