You can add iPhone apps that do not natively support CarPlay to the CarPlay Home screen.

Requirements
Please check the following details before purchasing:
- Confirmed to work on iOS 17, iOS 18, and iOS 26
- Not compatible with iOS 16 or earlier
- Requires a jailbroken device
- Requires the installation of Airaw
- Cannot be used in conjunction with CarBridge
Airaw is required to launch apps added via CarCast on CarPlay.
CarCast adds apps to the CarPlay home screen, while Airaw handles the launch process for each app.

CarCast manages only the apps added through CarCast; it does not modify standard CarPlay apps such as Maps, Music, or Messages.
How to use
- Install and enable Airaw.
- Go to “Settings” > “CarCast”.
- Select “Installed Apps” and tap the “+” button.
- Connect to CarPlay or restart CarPlay.
- Launch the added app from the CarPlay home screen.
*Note: If the app is added to CarPlay but fails to launch, remove it from the CarCast screen, add it again, and then restart SpringBoard.
Compatibility and limitations
CarCast displays apps on the CarPlay screen that were not originally designed for CarPlay; consequently, compatibility and behavior may vary depending on the app.
You may encounter the following issues with certain apps:
- Incorrect screen layout
- Touch controls behaving differently than usual
- App crashes or failure to launch
- DRM-protected videos appearing as a black screen
FairPlay-protected videos—such as those from Netflix, Prime Video, or Disney+—cannot be displayed. CarCast cannot bypass DRM restrictions.
While YouTube and Safari can be used for standard browsing and video playback, some protected content may not play.
If an added app does not appear in CarPlay, please restart CarPlay via the CarCast settings screen. If the issue persists, try reconnecting CarPlay or restarting your device.

- CarPlay environment on iOS 18 (Dopamine)
- CarPlay environment on iOS 26 (Dopamine)
- Rootless jailbreak environment

Important information
Do not install CarCast and CarBridge simultaneously. As both packages conflict with each other, they may not function correctly.
Do not operate apps while driving. It is the user’s responsibility to use CarCast safely and comply with local traffic laws.
